65 Peddlers in Seribu Islands Are Illegal

Jakarta Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOMP) recorded there are at least 65 peddlers, either street vendor, stall, store or food household industry (IRTP) have no license and product label.

"There are unlicensed 65 peddlers in islands, including seven food household industries which ignore sanitation and have no product label," expressed Head of Jakarta BPOM, Dewi Prawitasari, Tuesday (4/19).

Regarding this matter, Prawitasari has coordinated with Seribu Islands Regency inspectorate and PTSP. He asked, a number of business owners to be given coaching.

"We recommend socialization to be given to public and business owner regarding business license, thus we can control product against harmful material usage and easily do the coaching, "he said.
